Get ready to travel back in time. The annual School of the Soldier Civil War Encampment will take place July 18-19, 2015.

This event will re-crete a Civil War recruit training camp. “The two-day camp program will feature infantry and artillery drill exhibitions and parades, as well as a Ladies Tea and an era Fashion Show.

The event will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

This event is being held on the Historic Parkers Crossroads Battlefield Park, tour stop 7, Hwy 22/I-40, Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee
